Just about every rider out there has a hard time determining the level of riding experience they have, please read carefully below, my qualifications list for each level of rider, so you know which of my sale horses would best suit you.
Beginner- Has never had lessons, or is just starting lessons and can only W/T. This level rider needs a packer.
Advanced Beginner - Has been taking lessons for about 1-2 years and can get a horse/pony to W/T/C and jump crossrails, and has good balance.
Intermediate- Has been taking lessons for at least 3-4 years, maybe longer, has perfect balance and a very steady leg and knows how to keep their heel DOWN. Can easily W/T/C, knows diagonals and leads with ease and can jump a 2ft course.
Has ridden horses that aren't always packers.
Advanced- (aka Confident, Experienced rider) has over 5+ years riding experience, can easily handle young, green horses or OTT types. Is looking for a challenge or a horse that needs finishing. Most horses in this category need a very specific type of rider.
