Full Care Boarding

Stalls
All stalls are 12x12 and have heated waterbuckets for winter and box fans for summer. Each stall includes rubber stall mats and sawdust bedding.

Full-care Includes
A 12x12 stall, 2 feedings daily and up to 20lbs of orchard grass/alfalfa mix hay per day. Stalls are cleaned once daily and horses are given daily turnout. The minimum is 12 hours per day, but when weather permits we keep them out longer. All fields have 3-Board fence and horses have access to run-in shelters. Supplements will be given to boarded horses, if provided by the horse's owner. We can blanket in the winter, fly spray/mask in the summer if provided. Worming is included in the cost. We will also take on special needs horses at an extra charge.

Extras

At a small additional charge, Stillwater's owners will hold your horse for vet and farrier apointments w/ ample notice. We will also tend to sick horses, wrap legs, give meds, etc for approx $20/day. Fees will be worked out with owners when services are requested. We are a very small, private farm so we are able to offer these small extras. If your horse requires stall rest or private turnout due to injury or health reasons, there is an additional charge of $5/day for the extra hay and stall cleaning each day.

Pricing
Full care boarding is $375 per month per horse, worming included.

We now offer a BLUE RIBBON Service that will include all the above, plus holding of horse for vet/farrier appointments and grooming 1x/week for $410/mo per horse.

Barn Facility

As of January 2004, Stillwater Farm now offers a new 11 stall barn with indoor wash stall (hot/cold water) and new larger tack room.  Our current 4-stall Shedrow style barn with overhang was completed on December 1st, 2006. See new photos below.
